We work remotely, and meet physically once a month for planning, brainstorming and shared meals.As we build the tools to help scientists better calibrate their quantum devices, we need a team of physicists that both understand the pains of experimentalists (spending days tuning up their system before every data-taking) and the advantage that software & automation services can bring to this process. It is crucial that you feel comfortable in speaking (and translating between) the languages spoken by theoretical physicists and experimentalists/engineers.Strong background in Control of Quantum Systems (PhD or MSc with equivalent experience) is requiredStrong background in Semiconductor Spin or Ion Trap based quantum computing is requiredExperimental Physics experience or working closely with experimental collaborators or experience with implementing algorithms on hardware is strongly preferredYou must enjoy scientific programming and building software systemsYou must already reside or be willing to relocate near EU time-zones (CET±1)Your CV is a good start.
