We empower and support our employees to pursue their fullest potential and provide meaningful avenues for personal and professional growth.Who we are looking forOur team is looking for a Quoting Engineer to quote new and repeat business, and to coordinate product planning / launch activity for new business awarded. At its core, this entails being able to interpret customer design definition (drawings, models, etc.), in order to determine the appropriate sequence of manufacturing operations to produce a given part, then identify the associated costs of those operations (based upon the setup and run rates of internal operations, or working with suppliers for quotes on external operations), and finally apply the appropriate profit margin on those costs.What you will get to doQuotes new business (by interpreting customer design definition, specifications, etc., using sophisticated estimation tools).Quotes repeat business (by referencing historical data or other estimation tools).Monitors status of submitted quotes (won/lost/other), following up where appropriate.Coordinates product planning / launch activity for new business awarded.Collaborates with Purchasing for purchased items in support of quotes.Serves as a primary point of customer contact (RFQs and quote-related activity, via phone, email, portal, etc.).Develops and maintains customer relationships.Reviews customer purchase orders for acceptance (pricing, delivery, terms and conditions, etc.), negotiating where appropriate.Manages customer specifications library.What you bring to the teamBachelor's degree (BS Engineering), and 3-5 years experience, or comparable combination of education and experience.3 years of sheet metal quoting experienceExperience with quoting in the aerospace and/or defense industriesAbility to interpret design definition including drawings (including GD&T), bills of materials / parts lists, specifications, 3D models, etc.Ability to assess manufacturability of a given design, and specify the appropriate sequence of manufacturing operations to produce it.Working knowledge of cost and profit.High attention to detail, and organizational skills.The BIG payoffWe are a company who is going to make a difference in the industries and the communities in which we choose to operate.Every employee of Re:Build will share ownership in the company and will share in the financial rewards of the success we achieve together, at all levels of the company!We want to work with people that reflect the communities in which we operateRe:Build Manufacturing is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
