We would like to invite applications for the role of R&D Statistician at our site in Waterford.
A fantastic opportunity for an R&D Statistician to join the newly formed data and digital strategy group as the statistics and QbD SME and to establish comprehensive statistical science services for pharmaceutical development. The person in this position will play a key role in R&D's data analysis capability skills development and will influence the strategic initiatives on data transformation and digitalisation of pharmaceutical development.
A Day in the Life of our R&D Statistician
• Establish, organise and maintain effective data analysis and data management services pertaining to respiratory product development.
• Act as the data SME for selected high value R&D projects and guide project teams to ensure maximum value from data analysis is extracted.
• Promote a data-driven culture and play a key role in the implementation of Quality by Design (QbD).
• Complete protocol/report review and approvals.
• Elevate the workforce capabilities in data analysis by delivering appropriate courses and training sessions.
• Contribute to the overall data strategy and digitalisation initiatives underpinning Waterford's R&D digitalisation journey.
Who we are looking for Are you….
• Educated to Degree Level in Statistics or with several years professional experience analysing data.
Do you have….
• Experience with JMP (SAS) and JMP Pro statistical software, Python and R
• Experienced with QbD concepts and methodology.
• Experience with univariate and multivariate statistics, Design of Experiments and data visualisation.
• Good team working skills and ability to work effectively in a matrix organisation.
• Clear and effective communication skills to share ideas and results, written and verbal, to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Flexibility and the necessary skills to organise, mobilise, communicate and influence.
• Ability to teach others and experience in organizing and conducting training courses.
