Intramotev is
seeking an Radar / Sensors Engineer to join the development team to meet
growing demands in the development of self-propelled rail vehicles. The role is
responsible for integration and fusion of multiple sensors and radar into a
functioning self-propelled autonomous system – the successful candidate will be
a member of the development team working on the innovative self-propelled
capabilities in the sensor fusion of data from the cameras (Infrared,
depth/stereo), RADAR, Global Positioning System (GPS), Inertial Measurement
Unit (IMU), and other vehicle sensors for object detection, segmentation, and
tracking for current and future vehicles. The development of these capabilities
include multidisciplinary skills - architecture and systems development,
integration, and testing. This position will be based out of St. Louis, MO
This position
involves working in a dynamic team environment on small (1-2) to medium (3-6)
person projects where excellent interpersonal and communication skills are
needed. Due to the research nature of the work, project objectives and
requirements are likely to evolve over the course of the role. A small
amount of domestic travel to support integration, demonstration and customer
engagement may be required.

Position
Responsibilities
Develop RADAR/Sensor Fusion
architecture including input data from the RADAR, Cameras (infrared,
depth/stereo), GPS, IMU, and other vehicle sensors Perform detailed RADAR/Sensor
Fusion design including system design, simulation, documentation, security
considerations, configuration. Work with the ML/AI engineers
to combine the sensor fusion with the machine learning and artificial
intelligence for obstacle detection/segmentation/tracking Develop validation
methodologies to test the provided solutions Perform studies and make
recommendations on system and component reliability and availability. Support customer networks
including deployment, handover and ongoing support throughout system
lifecycle. Research technological
advancements for potential application to company business needs. Basic Qualifications
(Required Skills/Experience)
At least a Bachelor's Degree
in Engineering, Mathematics, Science 2-3+ years of industry
experience with real-world perception systems and sensor fusion systems 2-3+ years of
RADAR/sensor fusion experience (in any of the following): RADAR LIDAR Infared (IR) Cameras Depth/Stereo Cameras GPS/GNSS IMUs Vehicle Sensors
(accelerometers, wheel speed, etc.) U.S. Person (immigration or
work visa sponsorship will not be provided) Motivated, detail-oriented Willingness to expand into
technical areas beyond your area of expertise; ability to develop
innovative and novel approaches Open-minded and comfortable
working in a teaming environment or as an individual contributor Fluent in both written and
verbal English Preferred
Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
Candidate should
have a working knowledge of one or (ideally) multiple areas listed below:
1+ years of experience with
Real-Time Operating Systems (like Free RTOS) 1+ years of experience with
C, C++, Rust, and/or Python programming Unmanned Rail Systems /
Unmanned Systems Demonstrated experience
working on project teams and collaborating with other engineering
disciplines. Typical Education

Education/experience
typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and
typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination
of technical education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience,
3 years' related work experience, etc.).
