Radiation Therapist

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES- Radiation Therapist RAD THER Full-Time

Radiation Therapist candidates will have the following job responsibilities:
Radiation therapists operate machines, such as linear accelerators, to deliver concentrated radiation therapy to the region of a patient's tumor.
Radiation treatment may shrink or eliminate cancers and tumors.
Radiation therapists are part of the oncology teams that treat patients with cancer.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS- Radiation Therapist RAD THER Full-Time

Radiation Therapist candidates must meet the following minimum job qualifications: Education: Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English.
Graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy Program is required.
Experience: None Required.
License(s): Radiation Therapist License from ARRT.
Certification(s): BLS Certification by the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a State of Texas Radiation Control Program License for Radiation Therapy is required upon hire.


Compensation: $36-52/hour
