Changing the Future of Radiation Therapy: Radiation Therapists serve patient populations including Adults, Pediatrics, Veterans, and BMT among others. Our Allied Health team members serve on the front lines with opportunities to:

A Brief OverviewRadiation Therapists are skilled, state-licensed technologists that provide radiation therapy as prescribed by a Radiologist or Oncologist. Duties may include reviewing prescription and diagnosis; acting as liaison with physician and supportive care personnel; preparing equipment; and maintaining records.
What You Will DoDelivers treatment to patients and/or performs patient simulations according to written prescriptions.Uses C*I*CARE principles to provide explanations for treatment-related procedures.Assures the quality of treatment delivery through documentation.Displays a thorough understanding of radiation oncology billing and coding.Maintains an atmosphere of caring and support for patients.Maintains a safe and orderly patient treatment room.Performs other related duties as needed.QualificationsLicense/Certification requirementBasic Life Support (BLS) certification for providers issued by the American Heart Association.ARRT-RTT - Reg Tech-Rad Therapy ARRT.CRT-T.Required Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesKnowledge of principles, practices, and procedures involved in radiation therapy.Knowledge of human anatomy and proper positioning of the patient.Ability to communicate effectively and establish cooperative working relationships.Equal Opportunity Employer Stanford Health Care (SHC) strongly values diversity and is committed to equal opportunity and non-discrimination in all of its policies and practices.
Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $62.69 - $83.07 per hour.
