Imaging is an integral part of our practice that includes medical doctors, orthopedic surgeons, functional medicine practitioners, and pain management physicians.
Additionally, our Radiologic Technologists function as medical liaisons within our care team of physical therapists, chiropractic physicians, clinical athletic trainers, occupational therapists, exercise physiologists, and more!
An experienced Radiologic Technologist brings a unique role and perspective to the conservative care arm of our practice.
Summary of Responsibilities: Perform timely radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician. Perform necessary quality control procedures to ensure quality exams are performed. Prepare patients for radiology procedures and follow established clinical and regulatory protocols regarding patient safety and care; including proper radiation protection and shielding techniques. Ensure that equipment is in proper working order; report any malfunction to area manager(s) or provider on duty. Follow documentation procedures and complete required documentation related to patient visit. Assume responsibility for maintaining and improving diagnostic imaging knowledge and skills with the support and assistance of outside educational resources. Maintain current licensure and certification for the facility radiology equipment. Effectively communicate diagnostic medical images to patients as required. Provide exceptional patient experiences through internal and external coordination of patient care. Guarantee accurate record keeping and scheduling best practices. Stand out as a valuable team member, bringing energy in collaboration with all other healthcare disciplines in a team setting to help our patients GET BETTER FASTER! Requirements: Associates or Bachelor's degree in Radiography or Radiologic Technology State license and certification to practice Ability to operate and understand radiographic technology and equipment Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills, especially the ability to show compassion for patients coming from all walks of life Willingness to challenge patients, other team members, and yourself!
