At St. Luke's, we ALL make a difference!**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:*• Must produce high quality images, assist Radiologist in procedures, perform all duties as a Radiologic Technologist.• Operates imaging equipment to make clinical diagnostic images as directed by Radiologists. Performs routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices under the direction of the Radiology Manager and Radiologists.• Demonstrates an awareness of radiation safety procedures for self and others. Reviews Radiation Protection Plan Policy annually with documentation of signature and date. Documents all fluoroscopy times in EMR and PACS.• Utilizes all radiographic equipment to perform x-rays including but not limited to surgical and portable equipment.*REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:*• Must be registered by ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)• Must be certified in BLS (Basic Life Support).• Must be knowledgeable in imaging procedures including radiography, fluoroscopy, mobile radiography, and C-arm equipment.
