Work closely with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging for diagnosis and treatment planning. Prepare patients for exams by explaining the procedure, answering questions, and ensuring comfort and safety throughout the imaging process. Adhere to radiation safety protocols and patient protection standards to minimize exposure to both patients and staff. Maintain and operate radiology equipment, ensuring it is calibrated and functioning properly. Document patient information, imaging results, and other relevant data in the facilitys electronic medical record (EMR) system. Comply with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality. Qualifications : At least 2 years of radiology tech experience in a clinical or hospital setting. ARRT (R) certification in Radiology and state licensure in Georgia. Current BLS/CPR certification . Strong understanding of radiologic technology, including positioning, imaging protocols, and safety procedures. Excellent patient care skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients and medical staff. Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
