Position Summary

Summary:
The Radiology Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the scheduling & proper flow & care in all areas of the Radiology Dept.
including MRI, C.T.
Scanning, Ultrasound, Diagnostic Radiology & the Long Beach facility and other off-site imaging locations as required.
The supervisor will perform certain technologist functions on an as needed basis as per their competencies.


Qualifications

Responsibilities:
Education Required
•Must complete in-house orientation program
•Graduate of an accredited radiology technology school

Experience And Skills
•Excellent interpersonal skills
•Speaks, reads and writes English
•3 years experience as a radiological technologist with a bachelor's degree preferred; or 1 year experience as a lead tech or supervisor; or a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Senior Radiologic Technologist
•Must have basic computer skills and be familiar with PACS and RIS etc.

•Demonstrates leadership potentials, ability to troubleshoot and problem solving

License/Certifications
•Current N.Y.S.
License in Radiologic Technology required
•A.R.R.T.
preferred
