We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsAssociate performs quality Diagnostic procedures in an accurately and timely manner. He/she operates diagnostic equipment and processes images. Associate prepares patient's X-ray room, equipment, supplies and medication as indicated and delivers patient services using various imaging modalities. Associate practices proper radiation safety techniques on all exams performed. He/she maintains safe environment for patients, visitors, staff and co- workers. Supports and helps achieve the departmental and hospital goals.PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS·All seasonal employees are required to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period during the seasonal period.·All positions require 1 year of experience.·Three (3) weekend shifts are required each 4-week schedule period.·During the course of the 32-week period, the employee is required to work two (2) holiday shifts (defined by Department Manager or designee).·Within a close geography, you may be asked to float to another facility that has an emergent staffing need.·Seasonal Staff are PRN status employees and are subject to first call-off. There are no guaranteed hours by the hospital.·Seasonal Staff will not be eligible for benefits, except 401(k) and retirement contribution per the PRN policy.·Seasonal Staff will not be eligible for extra shift bonuses (D1/CND, D2/ECD, and D3/EVD)·Current FT/PT/PRN employees are not eligible to join the Seasonal program for 2023-2024·Current employees of HWS are not eligible for the seasonal program.·Shifts may vary based on the needs of the department. What qualifications you will need:Must be registered/eligible by ARRT (R). If other modalities are performed and associate does not hold advanced certification for those modalities, associate shall obtain within 6 months of hire/promotion or completion of training programMust be Texas licensed MRTBLS Certified from approved HCA vendorGraduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program or equivalent with appropriate state licensure and National Registy(s)Previous experience preferredMedical City Lewisville is a full-service 190+ bed medical and surgical facility.
