This role will provide an opportunity to become an integral part of an experienced vascular surgery group of 7 performing the full gamut of endovascular procedures, including complex thoracic and abdominal aortic repairs, carotid stenting, mesenteric interventions, lower extremity interventions, venous interventions and dialysis access maintenance.*Total compensation will be discussed during the interview process**Schedule: *All shifts available*Benefits: ** *Relocation Assistance Available! ** Medical, Dental, Vision* Short Term Disability* Long Term Disability* PTO (vacation, sick, personal days, paid holidays)* Life Insurance* Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D)* Retirement Plan* Paid Parental Leave*Responsibilities:** Verifies physician order and procedure to assure accuracy.* Utilizes radiology information systems to facilitate care.* Explains procedure to patient to ensure understanding.* Independently operates equipment to complete imaging procedure according to protocol (may include placement of nasogastric tubes, IVs, urinary catheters, and administration of contrast).* Reviews patient images prior to transmission to ensure images meet diagnostic quality standards.* Completes timely quality control procedures in accordance with regulatory standards and performing notification/remediation as warranted.* Leads departmental programs, protocol development, system standardization, competency validation, safety programs, accreditation, and quality/efficiency initiatives.* Assists in the orientation and training of junior staff; provides feedback to annual staff evaluations.* Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to: respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions and communication style.* Other related duties as required.*Qualifications: ** Completion of a Radiologic Technology program in an AMA approved school - (required)* 5+ years Radiologic Technologist experience - (required)* 1+ years of surgical experience - (preferred)* Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) - _ARRT registration required within 90 days of employment_* Licensed by the Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners in the state of practice - (required)* Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association - (required)* Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information.* Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally.* Must be proficient with Windows-style applications, various software packages specific to role and keyboard.* Strong interpersonal skills.*Physical Demands: *The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
