Job Summary
Operate specialized equipment to produce quality images for diagnostic interpretation.
Must be familiar with radiation safety procedures relating to patient and self.
Practices radiation safety and consistently follows all established procedures to assure safety and accuracy.
Identify each patient using dual identification and confirm proper exam is being performed.
Responsible for delegated areas of authority in the performance of routine or special procedures.
Education and/or Experience
Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training in an AMA-approved school and meets the requirements for registry by the ARRT.
Required License/Certification/Registration
Must be certified by and maintain current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
Must have and maintain 1 or more additional radiology certification beyond ARRT registration and certification. Preferably CT.
BLS completed within 6 months of the start date required and must be maintained.
Work Schedule
Evening/Night Shift; 80 hours every 2 weeks
Night shift differential
Occasional holiday (may need to cover weekday holiday)
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. The actual hourly rate is dependent upon experience.
$27.50 - $41.50 per hour
