Radiology Technologist Position

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Adventist Health.
Job Summary: As a Radiology Technologist, you will operate x-ray equipment to produce high-quality radiographs of designated body parts.
You will position and instruct patients prior to examination, adjust the x-ray equipment, and determine the proper voltage, current, and exposure time for each radiograph.
Responsibilities: Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation, explaining procedures to patients and answering their questions.
Prepare equipment for use as needed, prepare examination rooms for patient exams, and position patients for imaging exams.
Monitor patients and ensure their safety during exams, produce diagnostic images, and document exam information.
Verify exams on PACS and perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiography (ARRT-R) certification is required.
Radiologic Tech (RT) certification in the state of practice is required in CA and HI.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
Fluoroscopy license in the state of employment is required in CA and OR within 6 months of hire.
