**Description** _**Summary:**_Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for coordinating and performingdiagnostic medical imaging procedures utilizing radiopharmaceutical andmedical imaging equipment. Professional and departmental protocols arefollowed to provide the physician diagnostic images to identify andor planappropriate treatment for the patient's condition. We leadthe region in da Vinci robotic-assisted surgery and offers a variety ofspecialty care services including medical imaging, rehabilitation, hospice,women's services and more._**Responsibilities:**_• Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader ofSelf, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders. • Adheres to standards for radiation safety and for appropriate wasteseparation and disposal of radioactive agents by performing specific tasksmandated by Federal, State and Hospital policies. • Documents daily all calibrations and flood films for all Nuclear Medicineimaging equipment, Dose Calibrator accuracy check, Hot Lab area survey,dispensed pharmaceuticals and radioactive source disposal. • Practices safe handling of radio nuclides and radiation safety procedures atall times. • Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals, as prescribed by thePhysician, by adhering to established procedures. • Performs periodic quality control tests, documenting according to Hospitalpolicies and procedures. • Demonstrates adherence to the CORE Values of CHRISTUS Health. • Performs other duties as assigned. _**Requirements:**_ * Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent required * 1 year of experience in a clinical nuclear medicine setting required * 2 years of experience in a clinical Radiology setting is preferred * Current State Licensure required * Current BLS (American Heart Association) required * Nuclear Medicine Technologist registration from ARRT or NMTCB required**_Work Schedule:_** Varies**_Work Type:_ **Per Diem As Needed **EEO is the law - click below for more information:**We endeavor to make this site accessible to any and all users.
