Responsible for the loading and unloading of materials within a warehouse.
Utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks and within the storage facility.
Records flow information of materials and products and ensures the accuracy.
May assist in the training of lower level material handlers.
Responsibilities / Tasks Responsibilities: Have a Safety 1st mindset Operate various types of material handling equipment including a Reach Truck, Electric Pallet Jack, High-Lift and Forklifts Unload and receive shipments from suppliers while verifying order accuracy Pick and stage orders for outbound shipments Check outbound orders for accuracy Load trailers with product for delivery Perform miscellaneous general warehouse duties as necessary Your Profile / Qualifications Required Skills: 3+ years of Reach Truck experience RF Scanner, WMS or SAP experience Ability to read and write English Good math skills Experience with handling chemicals a plus Physical Requirements: Standing for extended periods of time, bending and lifting up to 50lbs Education High school diploma, GED or equivalent Working at GEA Group has significant benefits: 11 Paid Holidays PTO - Paid Time Off Medical Plans Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Health Savings and Spending Accounts Tuition Reimbursement 401k with excellent employer match Wellness Incentive Program Employee Assistance Program
