We are working with an elite international law firm that has a need for a real estate capital markets lawyer to join its highly-regarded investment funds practice as an associate, counsel, or in a non-partnership track role.

Responsibilities:
· Manage and oversee structured securities offerings within the investment funds group
· Represent clients in commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, financings, and development projects
· Work closely with real estate companies, REITs, and institutional and financial investors to structure and execute complex real estate deals
Required Qualifications:
· 6 or more years of experience with securities issues relating to REITs and other private placements
· Experience advising institutional real estate investment advisors, REITs, investment funds and developers on all aspects of commercial real estate transactions
· Excellent academic credentials
· Large law firm experience is preferred
Location:
Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
Compensation:
The anticipated base salary for this position is $310,000 – $550,000.
