At Regions, the Capital Markets Agency Underwriting Lead works within the Real Estate Capital Markets Project Finance Group (RECMPF) to complete financial analysis and borrower due diligence and helps coordinate loan closings.
The RECMPF Group is housed within the Capital Markets Group of Regions Bank and provides client-specific off-balance sheet financing solutions through its various Agency Products – Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and HUD.
Primary Responsibilities Cultivates internal and external client relationshipsIdentifies and resolves transaction issuesPerforms and reviews complex financial modelingProvides fundamental credit analysis (including commercial real estate market research, qualitative and quantitative property performance, sponsor financial statement detail, and comparable transaction information)Reviews transaction due diligence (Third Party Reports, Asset Summaries, Sizing Models, etc.)Creates asset summary memos (i.e. confidential information memorandum and, lenders' / investors' presentation)Consults with senior underwriters on complex transactionsThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Compensation Details Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job. The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position. Job Range Target: Minimum: $96,590.80 USD
50th Percentile: $127,410.00 USD
Incentive Pay Plans: This role is eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive plan. Employees have the potential to receive a discretionary award based on performance against defined metrics and goals.
