The Receiver is responsible for receiving and processing delivery of all product that arrives in the warehouse, excluding office supplies, and ensures an efficient flow of merchandise, documentation, proper location and storage of stock within the warehouse. The Receiver may help to offload items from the truck and then carry them into the warehouse or storage area. The Receiver may also assist to pull orders by locating stored items and arranging for their delivery to customers and must also document and track the movements of products throughout the store or warehouse. The Receiver utilizes a bar code scanner to quickly receive and collect product information and input it into the database to tabulate inventory and track orders and sales. This position is flexible in assisting the Warehouse team with product delivery, inventory count, and is the primary back-up to the Warehouse Supervisor.

· Unload packages from incoming trucks
· Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged.
· Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc.)
· Submits report to Purchasing when discrepancies are made.
· Assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacements.
· Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place.
· Ensure invoices are signed for satisfactory deliveries.
· Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control, cycle counts.
· Knowledge of how to access and alter databases, which requires basic computer literacy.
· Backup to Warehouse Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS List here the requirements needed to qualify for this position. REQUIRED Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or GED is required.
· Chauffeur license is required to operate company vehicles.
· Ability to lift 50 pounds on a continuous basis.
· Acclimated to warehouse environment and temperatures.
· Clear motor vehicle history is required.
· Must be able to successfully pass a background check.
· MS Product; database ERP experience (Eclipse, Solar experience is preferred); ability to navigate internet.
· Good written and oral communication is required; interpersonal abilities.
· Proven experience as receiving clerk or similar position.
· Experience in operating forklifts
· Working knowledge of computer programs and equipment for entering data
· Solid understanding of health and safety regulations
· Basic math and recording abilities; problem solving skills.
· Excellent organizational skills
· Keen eye for detail
· PREFERRED Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Education and Experience:
· Experience with industrial products, customers, and vendors is preferred.
· Warehouse experience and inventory experience is preferred.
