As a Receiving Agent, you will report to the Purchasing Manager and assist with the smooth flow of goods and supplies throughout the hotel and residences.
Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to delivering exceptional guest and vendor experiences will contribute to the overall success of our hotel's operations.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming deliveries, including food and beverage items, supplies, equipment, and packages.
Check the quality and quantity of delivered items against purchase orders and invoices.
Ensure that deliveries comply with hotel standards and safety regulations.
Accurately record received items, quantities, and any discrepancies in the receiving log or inventory management system.
Maintain organized records of received goods, purchase orders, invoices, and packing slips.
Monitor the condition and quality of received items to ensure they meet the hotel's high standards.
Report any damaged, expired, or substandard items to the appropriate department or supplier.
Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of stock.
Rotate stock to ensure proper storage and minimize waste.
Collaborate closely with all relevant departments to ensure seamless coordination of deliveries.
Communicate effectively with suppliers, couriers, and internal departments regarding delivery schedules and special requirements.
Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards when handling food and beverage deliveries.
Follow established safety protocols when handling and storing hazardous or heavy items.
Address any issues or discrepancies related to deliveries promptly and professionally.
Work collaboratively with other team members to find solutions to logistical challenges.
Comply with the hotel's policies and procedures related to receiving, inventory management, and health and safety.
Required Skills & Abilities:
Maintain records, inventories, and storerooms.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company Food Safety Programs within assigned area of responsibility, as well as all local, state, and federal regulations.

Education & Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalency
Minimum of one (1) year related work experience
Must be at least 18 years' old

Must be authorized to work in the United States
