Job Title: Receiving Clerk
Compensation: $15/hour
Schedule: Full-time positions available
Location: Full-Time; M-F 6:00am – 4:00pm; Saturdays as needed

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Plans, organizes, and monitors all shipping and receiving functionsResponsible for movement and storage of all products received from suppliersEnsures a smooth and consistent operation so products are located and distributed to proper departments in an effective mannerChecks items to be shipped against orders to verify that quantities and ensures the destination and routing are correctEnsures all deliveries are properly input into warehouse management systemProcess all inbound shipment as per the payment terms and process the purchasing order, then give to accountingInvoicing department will play a vital role connecting floor dept, buying dept, and accounting dept for accurate inventory managementReceives and unloads incoming products and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipmentProcesses return shipments from customersSorts and counts inventory which is shipped or receivedInspects shipments for damage or defectsRecords discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisorMaintains department database and completes work ordersPrepares routine reports and files shipping/receiving recordsOperates dolly, pallet jack and/or forklift in loading and unloading of suppliesAssists in routine maintenance of equipment and shipping areaSecures warehouseFollows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectivesDelivers continuous quality improvement on safetyPerforms miscellaneous duties as assigned Experience and Skills: Minimum of 1-year experience in shipping and receivingExperienced in working with warehouse management systemsAbility to communicate clearly with employees, customers, and vendorsExcellent planning and organizational skillsDemonstrates strong people skills Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent Physical Requirements: Prolonged walking and standing for continuous hours including, but not limited to a concrete or tile surfaceWorking in front of computer monitor for an extended periodMust be able to lift 50 lbs.
