Overview:
This position is responsible for receiving and delivering all food, beverage and other related products as well as maintaining the storerooms.
This position is also responsible to prioritize and create a continuous flow of work in the Purchasing Department as it pertains to Receiving and Warehouse practices, as well as proper food and beverage safety handling in the area.
This position is also responsible for all hardcopy paperwork and document retention for the Purchasing Department.
Responsibilities:
Receives all product, with designated POs or Addressed to hotel, in accordance to Receiving SOPs
Ensure efficiency and flow throughout the facility, to include all product received is accurately signed for, documented with proper signatures, dated properly and product verification is achieved (three way match)
Responsible for verification of product deliveries per specifications and quality levels and communicating discrepancies to management.
Traces lost shipments and/or customer claims of lost shipments; initiates proof of delivery documents
Contact vendors for missing paperwork/invoices, credits, and pricing discrepancies caught on the dock if no Lead available.
Monitor PO's in system, ensure all orders and paperwork is received correctly.
Monitor Requisitions in the system, ensure all orders and paperwork is pulled and closed correctly, investigate open Reqs from the day and collaborate with the team to address any discrepancies
Responsible for all hardcopy paperwork, signing invoices/packing slips, requisitions, or any other documents produced and presented to the Purchasing Department
Directly responsible for sanitation and cleanliness of Warehouse area, Loading Dock and surrounding areas.
Able to communicate with Outlet Managers, Chefs, Vendors, and Purchasing staff in a professional manner
Responsible for communicating with Purchasing Leads/Supervisors on Purchasing Daily Operations in a professional manner as well as participate in training done in the Purchasing Department and throughout the hotel.
Participate in month end inventories for all storerooms.
Ensure that all food and beverage requisitioned to the outlets is properly recorded in conjunction with the Warehouse Manager
Assist Director or Manager with departmental tasks as needed.

Experience, Education, & Licensure:
High school diploma or equivalent required
At least 3 years similar experience in a complex Resort environment receiving food and beverage
Fork Lift and/or Pallet Jack Experience required, Food Handler Certification required
Purchasing software knowledge and experience preferred (Birchstreet)
Compensation
Base Pay Start Rate: $19
