Details of the offer

Under the guidance of the Operations Manager this associate will be responsible for accurately receiving and recording products shipped to Armor Animal Health. In addition, this team player will assist the Operations Manager in leading and mentoring employees and looking for ways to improve processes in the Receiving/Returns Department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Lead and mentor receiving department employees: Develop and administer SOP's for all receiving/return protocols Train employees using standard operating procedures Monitor errors and resolve procedural problems Maintain department work schedule Coordinating staffing needs with fellow ops supervisors Match products to packing slips, check lots and expiration dates, watch for special orders and deal with any issues that arise regarding shipments Effectively manage day to day inventory issues Properly match packing slips to purchase orders Determine proper locations for new products and supervise the placement of products in the warehouse Manage vendor and customer returns and repairs Other duties as assigned Manage and participate in the product put away process as needed. Label products that are not clearly marked Maintain expiration dates on products Manage all quarantine and defective products Manage loaner products Manage the work order production center Manage employee time cards and leave requests Coordinate vendor credits with sales and accounting Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience: Requires a high school diploma with prior experience or training in a warehouse environment. 2-4 years of experience in inventory management or warehouse management.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze and interpret purchase orders, invoices and vendor packing slips. Ability to write business correspondence via email and effectively communicate by phone with vendors regarding errors and return of product in a professional manner. Ability to communicate and respond to questions from managers, vendors, and other employees.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Must maintain a high level of accuracy.
Other skills and Abilities: Ability to operate a computer, work with minimal supervision, follow directions, and work under pressure. Detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills so as to keep accurate records of all returns, repairs and loaners.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required stand and walk for long periods of time; bend/squat, use hands/fingers to handle or touch objects; reach above shoulders; talk and hear.
The employee occasionally will need to lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds. Employee will have to bend/squat and occasionally and reach above their head while breaking down and sorting pallets. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distant vision.
Tools/Equipment Used: Forklift, blue tooth scanners, IPod scanners, pallet wrapper, box knife, push cart, hand jack, two wheel cart, ladders, tape gun, calculator, printers and laptop computer.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moderate cold/heat conditions. The noise level in the work environment is sometimes loud.
Protective clothing/equipment required: Closed toe shoes, gloves when handling sharp or abrasive objects.
