The receptionist/administrative assistant position will be a major contributor to the overall firm operations in our Bethesda, Maryland office.
This position will assist and provide direction and information to visitors and other guests.
Additionally, this person will handle general office management & coordinate office supply inventories.
This role is in person, 5 days per week.
Job Responsibilities Greets visitors and guests; determine the purpose of each person's visit and directs or escorts them to the appropriate location.Ship and receive documents, packages, and courier deliveries.Ensure daily office operations run smoothly.Responsible for coordinating office-related vendor management with manager.Troubleshoot facilities related issues and escalate to manager as appropriate.Maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the office/meeting rooms.Order lunch, snacks, and/or beverages for meetings.Check office supply/food/collateral inventory weekly.Partner with local office team on other initiatives.Continuously find ways to improve processes related to office management while creating and implementing solutions. Required Qualifications Front desk experienceResponds promptly to needs; responds to requests for service and assistance; meets commitments.Can speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions.Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), customer service skills, diplomacy skills, and the ability to work with a wide range of constituencies.Self-motivated with an ability to multi-task as needed and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Ability to effectively problem solve.Ability to foster positive working relationships.
