Our client, a private property management office, is seeking candidates for their Front Desk Reception position.
The right candidates for this role have office experience using Word, Excel and Outlook and have a desire to continue in a similar role.
In this role you will function as first point of contact and assist the team with general administrative support as well as running errands when needed.
This is an onsite role in Southampton, NY and the schedule will be 7:00 AM through 3:30 PM Monday -Friday, and will pay up to $ 28.00 per hour depending on experience.
This is a temporary position with the potential to turn into a permanent position offering excellent benefits and a friendly, professional team to work with!
Responsibilities: Provide reception and office support to a small Private Property Management Office.First point of contact for calls and visitors for the main office and front gate.Collect and organize work hours for management review.Log sick and personal time.Maintain office operations spreadsheets, save and file visit logs.Check the mailbox on weekdays, receive & process deliveries.Run errands as needed.Maintain accurate inventory of supplies and order toner cartridges.Schedule FedEx and UPS pick-ups and other duties related to mailings.Responsible for Petty Cash drawer reimbursements.Help copy loose receipts to prepare them for scanning and processing.Receive and process vehicle registrations, proof of inspections and annual insurance cards & update spreadsheet.Assist with special projects as needed. Required Qualifications: Prior experience working in an office setting.Desire to continue working in an office support role long term.Strong communication skills with an upbeat and professional demeanor.Punctual, organized and able to juggle multiple tasks.Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.Able to meet deadlines with strong attention to detail.Must be organized and able to work autonomously.Degree or equivalent experience.
