Description:
The McAuley is seeking a dedicated Receptionist to manage front desk operations and respond to in-house emergencies.
Key Responsibilities: Uphold The McAuley's mission and Mercy Community Health's values.
Greet and direct visitors and residents, answering questions and providing information.
Reserve guest apartments and handle follow-ups.
Distribute memos, newsletters, and resident mail.
Manage UPS deliveries and registered mail.
Respond to emergency alarms and coordinate with security and maintenance.
Maintain and update reception forms and filing systems.
Operate the switchboard and monitor security cameras.
Schedule transportation and manage resident trip sign-ups.
Handle work orders and key control system.
Perform various clerical duties and maintain high standards of safety and ethical conduct.
Attend required staff and educational meetings.
Qualifications: Proficiency in English; able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Preferably three months of receptionist experience.
Familiarity with switchboard, communication systems, and security cameras.
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
Capable of performing essential job functions with or without accommodation
