About the Role: We're looking for a Recovery Specialist responsible for the collection of delinquent auto loan accounts that are or are about to be assigned for repossession. Utilizes telephone, automated dialer, and written correspondence in a fast-paced goal-oriented collections department. Accountable for reducing delinquency for assigned accounts. Responsible for skip tracing to locate accounts that are assigned for repossession. What You'll Do: Confers with customers by telephone in an attempt to collect current and past due payments, determines the reason for delinquency, and updates customer information. Confirms account holder by following safeguards procedures on every call. Adheres to collection standards of conduct policy on all accounts including third parties. Adheres to all federal and state collections laws Utilizes collection skip tools to locate accounts leading to resolution. Recommend accounts for repossession or legal action. Maintains delinquent rates at or below objectives. Meet daily and weekly production goals (Calls, repossessions, and dollars collected) Compliance with all company policies and procedures. All other duties assigned.
