The Recruiter will also play a crucial role in attracting diverse talent committed to social justice, equity, and inclusion, plus take a leading role in the implementation of a new Applicant Tracking System (ATS) in spring of 2025, contributing to the organization's overall growth and efficiency!
Key Responsibilities: · Consult with managers on service selection, recruitment strategies, and policy adherence.
· Develop a pool of qualified candidates for high-turnover positions and implement effective selection processes.
· Cultivate relationships with community groups, influencers, non-profits, and professional networks.
· Advertise opportunities through job fairs, social media, and diverse networks.
· Provide project management support for leadership recruitment.
· Train committees and managers on interviewing skills and compliance with employment law.
· Oversee interview processes, perform reference checks, and manage new hire onboarding.
· Perform data management; Track applicants and positions, producing custom reports for HR metrics.
· Analyze trends to enhance talent acquisition efficiency and address deficits.
· Ensure hiring processes align with Collective Bargaining Agreement and HR policies.
· Maintain organization when working within and tracking data in spreadsheets
Requirements: Requires one of the following a) two to three years' experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process. c) One to two years of Human resources or related administrative experience. d) Bachelor's degree in human resource management or a related field or equivalent education, training, and experience. · SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification ( preferred but not mandatory )
· SHRM Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential ( preferred but not mandatory )
· Non-profit experience ( preferred but not mandatory )
