Job Description
Position Title: Talent Acquisition Recruiter
What we're looking for:
AmeriHome Mortgage is experiencing tremendous growth in our Correspondent Lending and Consumer Direct divisions in our offices in Westlake Village, Irvine, and Dallas. We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team and help us recruit top talent.
What you will do:
Responsible for full-cycle recruiting of on a variety of positions inclusive of job description development, meeting with the hiring leader on sourcing strategies, contact and qualification of candidates, presentation of candidates to hiring leader, scheduling of interviews, offer guidance/preparation/negotiation and onboarding.
Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs.
Utilizes a variety of passive candidate sourcing techniques including NMLS, referrals, industry association events, open houses, job fairs, job boards, employee referral programs, and relevant personal and professional networking sites.
Develop and maintain a candidate pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
Manage the external and internal job posting process.
Work within our applicant tracking system, Taleo, and insure the applicant activity is updated accordingly.
Compliance – consistent application of HR and recruitment best practices and compliance with federal and state laws and regulations
Travel as needed to support the staffing requirements in California and Texas
Qualifications
What you will need:
3+ years of recruiting experience.
Must be experienced working in a high volume, fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency working with an applicant tracking system i.e. Taleo, iCIMS, etc.
Highly skilled in passive candidate sourcing via various channels
Excellent time management and organization skills
Proficiency with MS Office Suite
Projects a professional image to promote AmeriHome Mortgage at corporate events such as job fairs, campus recruiting events, social events, etc.
Self-starter and able to work independently with shifting priorities, challenges, and multiple deadlines
Quick learner – able to quickly understand unfamiliar positions, markets, and industries
