Recruiting/Admissions Counselor GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Carl Albert State College is accepting applications for a Recruiting/Admissions Counselor.
This is a full-time position, based at the Poteau campus.
Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Communicate with prospective students, their families and the community through appointment, telephone, email and other electronic means Attend college fairs, high school visits and community agencies to represent CASC; explain the benefits of a college education and recruit new students Assist with the planning and implementation of recruitment events Oversee the Scholastic Contest Provide campus tours Assist with all aspects of the admissions process for incoming students Assist in the management of the CRM database QUALIFICATIONS: Associates Degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred; must be attentive to detail; possess good organizational skills; strong verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in public speaking; ability to work independently; good interpersonal skills; strong computer and word processing skills; experience in promotion, sales, and marketing preferred.
Should you be chosen to be interviewed, you will be required to do a 4 to 5-minute presentation on a topic of your choice accompanied by a PowerPoint.
SALARY: Associates Degree $25,000 annually; Bachelor's Degree $33,000 annually; a full benefit package is included, which includes Employer paid Medical, Dental, Life, Long-term Disability, Oklahoma Teachers Retirement, Vacation & Sick Days.
