Job Summary: The Recruiting Specialist will develop local recruitment strategies to attract new candidates. They will engage with applicants in the applicant tracking system, interview, onboard, and schedule new hires for orientation. They will work closely with the local branch team to understand the open needs for caregivers and communicate applicant status.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Builds applicant pools by researching and contacting community services, colleges, and employment agencies and attending local hiring fairs and events.Determines applicant qualifications by reviewing and interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, and determining applicants to present offers to.Offers applicants and completes onboarding process including conducting background checks, collecting new hire forms, completing E-Verify, and delivering a complete and compliant new hire file.Walks applicants through the entire onboarding process focused on ensuring compliance and a great first impression of Help at Home.Schedules and conducts New Hire orientation on a weekly basis or as needed.Updates applicant tracking system through each stage of the hiring process.Acts as a brand ambassador and helps grow our reputation management by encouraging completion by new hires.Collects and reports on metrics and data to track hiring progress for assigned branches.Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required.One-year prior recruiting experience required.Some college-level education preferred.Benefits: Competitive weekly payQuarterly performance-based bonuses*Direct depositHealthcare, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off401kOngoing, in-depth training opportunitiesMeaningful work with clients who need your help.Career growth and experience with an industry leader with 40+ years of history in high-demand fieldRecruiting Specialist must comply with state background screening requirements.
