Recycling Sorter Job Summary:
Starting pay $18
1st Shift 8am - 4:30pm
Monday - Friday
Working for a local scrap yard
Placing scrap metals through an industrial shredder to be broke down into smaller pieces
Sorting various metals accordingly as they come down the conveyor belt
Visually inspecting metals
Operating the can baler and other small equipment
Removing any debris that do not belong
Shoveling debris that falls off of the line
Qualifications:

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs consecutively
Ability to identify the different types of metals
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to work independently or as a team
Must have Steel Toed Boots
