The DRO Learning and Development Lead will be part of a global team focused on creating, maintaining, and delivering training and procedures for the wider for Citi's Data & Regulatory Operations (DRO) organization including process change, policy, and Series 99 functions for the Entity Data Management, Accounts Control, Securities and Pricing, Client Onboarding teams.
The Data Procedure & Training Portfolio Management team within the Data & Regulatory Operations (DRO) organization consolidates, develops, expands, and formalizes both procedures and training in line with Citi standards and policies. The role will be responsible to lead a centralized and standardized Global Procedure Framework, which is scalable and auditable, to ensure all regulatory and process change requests are supported with the corresponding procedure change/creation and follow the stakeholder engagement and change management processes. Additionally, DRO Procedures Lead will link and document processes across functions / operational teams, develop checklists, and prepare process maps to represent the technical and operational connections and flows for the underlying process.
This role will report to the Procedure Development Senior Manager within the DRO Data Governance team.
Responsibilities:
Analyze new business/regulatory requirements and convert those into user friendly language, easy to follow instructions, and process maps as needed within a new or existing procedure documents.
Work with business partners and stakeholders for the creation or updates to procedures, process flows, and Series 99 documentation within targeted timelines.
Follows change and procedure management processes to ensure appropriate controls and approvals are in place on new and existing procedures.
Conducts process and procedure impact assessments for upcoming change requests in terms of effort, volume, line of business, business function, risk, and other necessary requirements.
Support delivery on Book of Work projects related to procedural design and implementation.
Streamline, consolidate and standardize procedures using industry best practices for identifying business and technical requirements.
Conduct periodic reviews of existing procedural documentation to ensure accuracy and relevancy.
Assists in control functions - both pre- and post- implementation of new procedures - by ensuring the new changes have been effectively implemented at the base level.
Assist with the development a global procedure management framework that identifies procedure requirements and goals within various business partner and stakeholder groups based on target audience and content complexity.
Qualifications:
2+ years Technical Writing or procedure development experience.
1+ years of experience in developing and establishing processes around regulatory requirements.
2+ years of project management experience preferred
Microsoft Office Suite proficiency with an emphasis on Excel
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Education:
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent work experience
