The Regional Business Manager will lead and manage daily sales operations to achieve business goals and maximize profitability in a region and territory. Your duties include managing up to seven salespeople, setting and monitoring performance objectives, evaluating and optimizing operational performance, and ensuring regulatory and company standards are upheld.

How you will contribute Meet or exceed sales budget for Prolacta's product line in assigned accounts. Achieve regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews. Accomplish regional sales human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees in assigned territories. Communicate job expectations by planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions, and enforcing policies and procedures. Provide supervision through field visits, observations, and measurement of results, including performance appraisals and salary reviews. Meet regional sales objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions. Establish sales objectives to achieve sales plan and quota for region in support of national objectives. Maintain and expand customer base by counseling clinical sales representatives, building and maintaining rapport with key customers, and identifying new customer opportunities. Develop relationships with Region KOL's. Build relationships with HCP's associated with Region hospital NICU's. What you bring to the role Must have a minimum of 10 years of medical sales experience. Strategic hospital selling experience. Demonstrate a collaborative sales approach and coordinate efforts between sales leadership, other Prolacta teams, health economics, medical education, market access, sales operations, and training. Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Strong presentation skills are a must. Demonstrated success in opening new accounts and growing business. Success in handling special projects. Ability to mentor and coach others. Strong leadership skills are required. Prior management experience is a plus.
