Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world! Responsibilities: Lead Regional Commodity Strategy for direct materials. Achieve procurement targets in Commodity Management, Business Unit and Region. Commodity and Supplier Management including analyses of market trends, resourcing, new suppliers, exit strategy and further development of commodities. Supply Base Management: Define & negotiate terms & conditions for suppliers in the commodity (Supply Agreements, Rebate Agreements, delivery & payment terms, etc.). Execution of strategic supplier evaluation and its resulting actions. Negotiation of annual supplier contracts with support of purchase managers. Establish know-how about material and manufacturing methods in commodities and transfer to development and purchasing. Cooperation / assistance on value analyses. Support of Business Unit purchase team in price negotiation on supplier level. Managing price negotiations on supplier level. Support Business Unit Purchasing. Lead of overall price negotiations (supplier level). Preparation of presentations and reports (visits, market data, forecast…). Researching and scouting supply market in best cost countries and manage onboarding according to Vibracoustic and automotive industry requirements. Performing market analysis, cost driver analysis, technologies and innovations, supplier financial risk monitoring. Reporting of purchasing performance results and setting up ERP System in terms of pricing, surcharges, etc. Maintaining supplier data (Portfolio, growth indicator, supplier status etc). Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or equivalent degree. 5 years of work experience in Direct Materials Purchasing / Procurement. Experience in Purchasing / Procurement of Die Casting components for automotive applications preferred. Strong negotiation skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to communicate / interface across all organizational levels. Goal oriented with high self-motivation and problem solving skills.
