We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Regional Controller to oversee the financial operations of several of our manufacturing facilities.
Role Overview:As the Regional Controller, you will be responsible for providing financial leadership and oversight for multiple manufacturing plants.
This role requires a deep understanding of plant-level financial operations and an eagerness to partner with plant leadership to drive business results.
You will also manage and develop a team of finance professionals, ensuring the implementation of best practices in cost and inventory accounting, as well as supporting overall business strategy.
Key Responsibilities: Lead financial operations across multiple manufacturing facilities. Serve as a financial business partner to plant operations leadership, offering insights to improve operational efficiency and profitability. Oversee plant-level financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Manage and mentor a team of financial professionals, focusing on staff development and succession planning. Ensure accurate cost accounting, inventory accounting, and overall financial reporting. Collaborate closely with operations teams, getting out on the floor to build relationships, understand processes, and drive business improvements. Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and regulations. Lead continuous improvement efforts within the finance function, focusing on process efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (required). 7+ years of progressive financial leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3+ years in a plant-level financial or accounting role. Strong experience in cost accounting and inventory accounting. Proven experience in managing and developing finance teams. Ability to function as a financial business partner with plant operations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work on-site with plant teams to understand the business and build relationships. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Knowledge of ERP systems and advanced Excel skills. Why Join Us?
