Job Summary: Valley Hope is expanding our Business Development team and is in search of a talented sales/marketing professional to join our team in this key position of Regional Director of Business Development. This position will oversee the business development for our Midwest Region of Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. The successful candidate will be able to travel up to 85% of the time.

The successful candidate will have the following: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.Proven successful track record of business development/sales; 5 years' experience in sales, marketing, and/or public relations.Three (3) years of management or supervisory experience, with the ability to train and lead staff in presentation skills.Valid unrestricted Driver's License.Previous experience in healthcare sales/marketing is preferred.Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to prioritize competing demands.Proficient in MS Office applications.Good business awareness and ability to work within a budget.Benefits: Affordable health, dental, and vision insuranceTuition AssistanceStudent Loan RepaymentPublic Student Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Eligible Employer8 Paid Holidays (Including 1 Personal Holiday)PTO – Up to 22 Days per year based on years of service401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matchHealth Savings and Flexible Spending AccountsEmployee Assistance ProgramAnd much more!Responsibilities: Work collectively with the team to implement strategic plans and goals for the department.Manage a territory of referral sources including hospitals, therapists, doctors, and other professionals.Lead weekly business development team meetings.Provide training and coaching to the team both individually and as a group as necessary.Assist with marketing campaigns, CEU events, and referral source events within the territory.Demonstrate knowledge of and support mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies, and procedures consistent with the organization's mission statement and objectives.Coordinate with the team to conduct analysis of key facility indicators to recognize developing trends in business development.Use sales forecasting and strategic planning to analyze business development and market trends for each facility within the region.Continuously explore ways of improving existing products and services and increasing profitability within the region.Work with SVP and corporate marketing staff on approving regional advertising, public relations, and business development.Utilize and analyze the regional marketing database to ensure current reporting and execution of data reports.Develop and deliver insightful strategies and presentations to the executive committee and business department where appropriate.Submit reports on regional market trends, referral sources, contacts, etc. to supervisor for quarterly board meetings and as requested.Work closely with regional team members on planning and administering the marketing operations budget of the organization.Oversee the conduction of referral development, customer relations, and in-service training sessions to educate the community on facility operations and services.Collaborate with the corporate marketing team in developing promotional materials, including marketing print and collateral copies and managing the production of such; as well as coordinating the regional facility's social media accounts.Stay up to date with news, research, and any other information that directly affects our products or services.
