Regional Finance Business Partner Orora Packaging Solutions is seeking a Regional Finance Business Partner.

Reports to: VP FinanceLocation: Hybrid (Grand Prairie,Texas)Travel Requirement: Less than 10% requiredFLSA Status: ExemptWhat You'll Be Responsible For Responsible for the accuracy and effectiveness of both the inventory department and receiving practices.Ensures compliance with Company Policies and Procedures and GAAP, as well as the oversight of Internal Control Environment (ICE) for the Region.Leads process improvement efforts in billing and inventory management in the region.Reviews spending practices in all expense areas to assure best possible practices are being followed.Devises and maintains systems to accurately track recurring expenses to ensure appropriate payments to bring to light any extraordinary cost fluctuations.
Also, to track cost trends in order to look for possible improvements.Advises the Division Manager of inconsistencies and/or fluctuations in labor and other costs.
Track and analyze labor and other costs in order to advice Division Manager of areas which may be currently or approaching an out of-control situation.Obtains, tracks, and reviews operational and sales figures from other distribution divisions to provide data to Division Manager.
This data will be provided with the intent of giving a tool to the Division Manager to ensure thehighest efficiency and productivity levels in distribution.
Reviews sales information in order to advise Division Managers and General Sales Managers the impact of current and/or future selling practices on the division's profitability and growth.Assists Division Manager with planning for long term objectives and goals.Assists departmental managers with procedure review and documentation to ensure best financial processes are being followed.
This will be to ensure the current and future profitability of the division.Ensures proper documentation and review for effectiveness and profitability all operational contacts, maintenance agreements, lease agreements, etc.
Review in this area will be aimed at constantly searching for more effective and profitable alternatives.Creates, drives, and maintains an operational cost savings movement within the division.Prepares and reviews monthly financial statements with the Division Manager each month.Budgets: Provide support to Division Manager in preparation of budget, including research and analysis.
Analyze current period to budget and highlight unusual variation.
Perform all data entry of budget amounts into GL System.Maintains monthly schedules for division Balance Sheet Accounts including: prep aids, deposits, suspense, accrued bonus, accrued wages and salaries, coworker's receivables, bank reconciliation.Audits schedules as required.
Prepares required monthly report.Coordinates physical inventories and reconcile.Works in conjunction with the Division Manager and/or Department Managers on Financial analysis related to cost reduction and other projects as that may arise.Provides back up for all commission related tasks including monthly maintenance and quarterly statements.Schedules fixed assets additions ensuring monthly expenditure is approved and reconciling actual expenditure on each project with approval.Performs other duties and/or responsibilities as requested.What We're Looking For Required Experience and Education: Minimum of 5 years Accounting, Finance or related field experience preferredAble to work with more than one project/responsibility simultaneouslyBachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance or related field required.Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience may be considered.Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of modern Accounting and Finance principles, methods, and strategies.Ability to communicate effectively with all levels in the organization.Self-starter with strong influencing skills.Proven successful implementation of Accounting and Finance programs.Excellent computer, spreadsheet; and data base experience preferred.Excellent judgment and conflict management skills.This position requires the ability to demonstrate the following competencies:Business MasteryIntegrated LeadershipPeople DevelopmentChange ManagementIntellectual flexibility & technical acumenSAP experiencePackaging/distribution/manufacturing industry experienceAbout Us At Orora Packaging Solutions, we believe our packaging touches lives.
