Regional Maintenance Manager - Opelousas, LA Location: Opelousas, LA
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 3 days per week (Saturday, Sunday, Monday), 14 hours per day, with occasional additional days as needed
Compensation and Benefits: Base Salary: Starting at $80,000 per year Bonus: Performance-based, potentially 12-15% of salary Stock Options: $5,500 annually with a 3-year vesting period Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance; life insurance; and long-term disability coverage Retirement Plan: Competitive 401(k) plan with company matching Vacation: Generous vacation package, including additional personal and sick leave Additional Perks: Employee assistance program, wellness programs, and continuous professional development opportunities Responsibilities: Lead and manage a maintenance crew of 7 technicians in a 1.2 million square feet facility Focus primarily on preventative maintenance Maintain 170 forklifts and manage 1400 individual assets, including conveyor systems Expertise in troubleshooting and repairing Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and experience with 480-volt systems Uphold safety standards and work towards improving efficiency Collaborate with various departments to streamline maintenance processes Qualifications: Strong background in PLCs and experience with 480v systems Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a small, efficient team Previous experience in large-scale maintenance operations Military experience, particularly in the Air Force, Marines, or Navy (including submarine service), is highly regarded Excellent problem-solving and pressure management skills Effective communication and organizational abilities
