They alsoprovide consulting and support services to post-acute and long-term care nursing teams and facilities!Responsibilities and PurposeTakes temporary assignments as an interim Director of Nursing, providing relief during absences, vacations, and transitions.Audit facility systems and evaluate them for survey readiness, compliance with Medicare requirements, and optimal quality of care for each resident.Conduct rounds to evaluate care and offers suggestions or direction to staff to ensure optimal quality of care for each resident.Maintain records and schedules of facility visits, including any recommendations, in an orderly manner that is readily accessible to other facility and corporate staff.Serve as a support person for facility administrative staff and answers questions or solve problems as requested.Desired Experience and EducationCurrent and unencumbered Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) LicenseValid driver's license with a clean driving recordTwo (2) or more years of experience in a Long Term Care environmentA comprehensive understanding of the Medicaid/Medicare programs and extensive knowledge of current federal and state regulationsPrevious experience as a Director of Nursing Services (DON) preferredBenefitsWe offer competitive pay relative to experience.
