Amerihealth Caritas is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as a Regional President. In this role you will be directly responsible for the strategic growth and operating performance of the Medicaid and LTSS products within the assigned region. The successful candidate will be a strong leader and thought partner to our senior leadership team and to our external partners in developing and executing regional business strategies aligned with enterprise goals and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities: Partner with the EVP, Health Markets and senior stakeholders to drive the performance of all plans within the assigned region. Provide strategic oversight to Market Presidents to drive and achieve revenue and membership growth; set strategic and operating plans to ensure successful execution at the plan and regional levels. Work collaboratively and cross functionally with all corporate and shared services areas to ensure areas of operations that impact market key performance achieve targets. Responsible for escalating and critical business risks and/or issues that materially impact the achievement of annual business goals or compliance for product or individual market. Develop and maintain appropriate external relationships in support of Amerihealth Caritas Family of Companies. Partner with the organization's business development teams to identify and develop new business opportunities and feasibility assessments. Evaluate trends across markets and industry to challenge the status quo and to identify opportunities that enable market competitiveness. Demonstrate a strong grasp of national and state Medicaid and LTSS landscapes and priorities. Build strong, cohesive leadership teams and develop initiatives to assure retention of highly competent and motivated workforce; develop talent at all levels to ensure succession, breadth, depth, and diversity. Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in business, health care administration, or related fields required, graduate degree preferred. Approximately 10+ years of experience in managed care and/or government programs (HMO, managed care, LTSS, and/or Medicaid plans). Experience operating across multiple markets/regions is highly preferred. Approximately 10 years of progressive senior or executive management experience within a large-scale, highly regulated industry. Depth of knowledge within government programs, specifically federal Medicaid law and state programs to drive membership and revenue growth. Demonstrated knowledge of the broader ecosystem of managed care and government programs that afford the ability to consistently apply a broad, long-term view of the business and external environment, balancing external challenges and internal realities, anticipating change and seeing emerging opportunities in an evolving marketplace. Experience in driving innovation and new solutions to bolster market differentiation. Strategic thinker who is growth-oriented and can quickly understand the economics of the segment and the Company as well as the shifting needs of the states and the competitive landscape. Ability to partner effectively within a matrix environment, excelling at cross-functional collaboration. Strong interpersonal, relationship management, and influencing skills with an emphasis on setting strategy, executing for results, and leading teams.
