Responsibilities
• Assess overall soundness of loan portfolio and entertain policy questions• Lead and promote sales, credit, and HR functions in the assigned area• Monitor workflows, controls, and staff expectations for effective loan origination• Ensure staff training, technology, and business processes align with the business plan• Hold team members accountable to key deliverables• Manage performance, staffing requirements, and salary administration• Maintain internal controls and regulatory compliance• Engage in continuous improvement strategy• Develop key internal reports to monitor loan origination and servicing• Promote exceptional customer experience
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Agricultural field• 5+ years of credit experience in an agricultural-related/rural environment• 5+ years of experience leading a sales team• Valid driver's license• Competencies in credit administration and loan servicing• Thorough knowledge of Farm Credit policies and lending compliance requirements• Thorough knowledge of economic issues impacting agriculture and Farm Credit• Thorough knowledge of emerging technological advances and current best practices• Ability to plan, organize, and deliver results as a sales team leader• Ability to travel extensively• Leadership skills including organizing, planning, judgment, decisiveness, delegation, communication, and interpersonal skills
