As part of the Federal Sales team, you'll play a vital role in continuing our company's growth by balancing integrity and innovation, fostering an environment where every team member can thrive and excel.
About the Role
As the leader for Federal Pursuit & Capture, you'll leverage your extensive sales and leadership experience to guide, mentor, and inspire a team of Pursuit and Capture Managers in positioning [Company]'s Solutions. You'll collaborate with a passionate, enthusiastic team dedicated to driving innovation in the cloud industry.
Responsibilities:
Develop near-term and long-range strategies for business development in designated pipelines, demonstrating critical thinking, business acumen, and interpersonal skills.
Lead all aspects of opportunity capture, from qualification phase to proposal delivery, coordinating with various stakeholders to mature opportunities through a defined acquisition framework.
Drive interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute large, complex deal strategies, including defining opportunities, validating technical solutions, and engaging with industry partners.
Lead the development of win themes, technical solutions, pricing strategies, and risk mitigation strategies.
Meet or exceed established metrics and goals, supporting overall corporate growth and success.
Conduct and participate in internal gate reviews, coordinating internal approvals and risk assessments.
Communicate effectively with senior and executive management, maintaining a strong drive for results and innovation.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required.
10+ years of strategic capture, proposal development, contract management, and/or pricing strategy experience with federal, state, and local government customers.
Strong understanding of the federal acquisition process, including FAR, DFAR, and various contract vehicles.
Demonstrable success leading and winning captures with an awarded value greater than $1B in the public sector marketspace.
Active TOP SECRET security clearance and US Citizenship required.
Additional Qualifications:
Understanding of the competitive landscape and customer needs to effectively position solutions within accounts.
Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration and accurate forecasting.
Self-starter attitude with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
