Job Overview: The Regional Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and expanding market share for our client, a leading distributor of commercial laundry equipment in the Southeast.
The primary focus of this position is to manage and grow sales within the commercial, coin laundry, and multi-housing segments.
This role will also build and maintain relationships with key customers and oversee the development and execution of sales strategies in the designated region.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial, coin laundry, and multi-housing markets.
Manage and nurture relationships with key customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
Collaborate with field sales representatives and service teams to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
Analyze market trends and customer needs to drive business development and market share growth.
Oversee the development of sales proposals, presentations, and contracts for prospective customers.
Coordinate with internal teams, including service technicians and parts teams, to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of services and products.
Attend relevant industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the company's services and products.
Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management.
Requirements Include: Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: 5+ years of sales experience in commercial or industrial equipment sales.
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and growing market share.
Experience in the laundry equipment industry or related field is a plus.
Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts.
Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Certifications: Sales or industry-specific certifications are a plus.
Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the commercial laundry equipment industry and market trends.
Understanding of regional customer needs and the competitive landscape.
