We are searching for a skilled team member to support our company's purpose to bring people together through thoughtful integration of technology and customer experience. In this role, you'll be responsible for the overall success of NEP's client growth activities in the Philadelphia market. All business development activities will be expected to meet or exceed NEP capital investment and related financial return objectives. The focus of new business in the region will be generating incremental margin through both new construction and existing community opportunities with the NEP standard business offering. This position is commission eligible based on sales goal attainment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESOverall ownership of the Philadelphia market business development KPIs such as close rate, win/loss analysis, pipeline health, pipeline age, qualification percentages, lead to prospect ratios, etc.Provides stewardship to balance the need for Business Development goal attainment and overall company revenue and profitability metrics.Acts as the external evangelist for NEP product and services in the assigned market.Ability to deeply understand key market dynamics, articulate them to internal stakeholders and influence the development of the correct solution to achieve profitable success in all of NEP's markets.Deeply understand and articulate standard company value proposition in multiple forms of communications (i.e. verbally, in sales materials, in contract documents, etc.).Ability to create, close, and manage fruitful relationships with the highest level of executives within the multi-family industry.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's or master's degree in business or related discipline with at least five (5) years business development experience in sales and sales management within the multi-family real estate, or multi-family products/service spaces. Energy experience is desired but not a requirement. Proven ability to successfully manage a team to generate new business opportunities in new markets and multiple geographies desired. Experience working in new or emerging industries preferred. Strong organization, management, and planning skills.Ability to be resourceful and use creativity to identify customers and their needs and appropriate solutions.Strong financial acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work with multiple stakeholders with differing or changing priorities and the ability to build trusting relationships across various levels of an organization.Must live within the greater Philadelphia area.Consultative/solution selling skills with outstanding presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
