Your Role:

Atlas Copco is looking for a Regional Sales Manager who will contribute industry-leading solutions to our customers in the Motor Vehicle segment. You will travel throughout Southeast Michigan (Detroit Area) to visit our customer facilities to assist them with process improvement. You will manage strategic planning with major automotive manufacturers, and create profitable growth targets. You will report to the Zone Manager - Motor Vehicle Industry. You will provide real-time assessments of our automotive manufacturing facilities and their suppliers within this territory. You will develop new contracts, maintain current contracts, provide territory forecasting, and develop relationships within Atlas Copco. You will maintain a sound business plan and an "ongoing activity plan". You will report all product needs and competitive activity to our Product Marketing Team to enhance our presence in the Industrial Manufacturing and Automation Industry.

To Succeed, You Will Need:
Located within or near Detroit, MI
To travel 50% to visit customer sites in Southeast Michigan but

will be home daily
Travel to Mexico once a year for a week-long Sales Meeting
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Business, Marketing or equivalent preferred
3-5 years experience in Technical Sales, Industrial Sales, Sales Engineering, Automation Sales, or Industrial Tooling Sales preferred
3 years experience traveling to customer locations in a manufacturing environment preferred
3-5 years of experience reading blueprints, schematics, or Engineering Drawings preferred
2 years experience conducting product demonstrations or presentations preferred
