The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for new client acquisition and achieving sales targets within a designated geographical region.
This role is 100% net new sales and reports directly to the Vice President of Sales.
Candidates must reside in Mountain or Pacific time zones.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: New Client Acquisition and Relationship Management: Alongside the VP of Sales, you will be responsible for building and executing an outbound strategy for net new logos across primary care, speciality practices, health systems & IDNs as well as dental and acute care facilities. Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through targeted prospecting and lead generation activities. Identify and drive sales opportunities through the pipeline process to contract and award.
Responsible for building a 10x pipeline within 9 months. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospects and clients. Provide regular reporting and analysis on sales performance, pipeline activity, and market trends. Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with company goals. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to execute strategic initiatives.
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential business opportunities in your defined territory. Conduct win/loss analysis for your book of business. Networking and Industry Engagement: Identify & attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the company and establish valuable connections.
Represent the company in a professional and positive manner to enhance brand visibility.
Requirements EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Nursing, Healthcare Administration or a related field. Proven experience (5+ years) in business development, sales, or a related role selling to healthcare practices, hospitals or IDNs.
Preference to those who have medical sales, healthcare tech or healthcare BPO experience. SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Deep understanding of healthcare industry, including primary care, specialty and hospital operations and administration. Hunter mentality - excited to build a book of business with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. Familiarity with outsourced labor and staffing, offshore preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with CRM software (HubSpot a plus), customer support platforms, and productivity tools
