About the Role
The Company is in search of a Regional Vice President for the Southwest region. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and forward-thinking leader with a focus on driving strong and sustainable growth. Responsibilities include identifying strategic growth opportunities, developing executive business plans, and ensuring profitability and operational efficiency. The role also involves leading and developing a unified team, setting and achieving performance standards, and managing relationships with clients and carriers. The Vice President will mentor the team, act as a strategic partner to leadership, and continuously analyze the market to adjust business strategies as needed.Applicants must have a minimum of 8 years' experience as a sales team leader with direct management experience, as well as 8 years' of multiline underwriting and production experience, including excess and surplus. Prior experience in managing an office or a region with profit and loss accountability is essential. The role requires a demonstrated proficiency in sales and marketing, and a Bachelor's degree is mandatory. Preferred qualifications include continuing education, an advanced business degree, advanced executive leadership certification, or an insurance designation. The ideal candidate will be adept at team and performance management, and have a proven track record of developing and mentoring talent in sales and service.
