The Vice President of Operations is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the company's operations. Operational Excellence: Oversee the optimization of day-to-day operations to maximize efficiency and effectiveness across the organization. Continuously assess and enhance operational processes, identifying areas for innovation and improvement. Team Management: Lead and inspire a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Mentor and develop team members, focusing on professional growth and succession planning to ensure long-term team success. Client and Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners. Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand client needs and expectations, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction. Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality control measures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. Develop and implement training programs to enhance operational staff skills, knowledge, and performance. Financial Management: Develop, monitor, and manage operational budgets to ensure financial sustainability and responsible resource allocation. Analyze financial data and key performance indicators to make informed, strategic decisions that support the company's financial objectives. Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date on industry regulations, ensuring full compliance with all relevant standards and requirements. Work closely with legal and regulatory teams to address any compliance-related issues and mitigate risks. Employee and Labor Relations: Navigate and manage labor union agreements, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and effectively addressing collective bargaining matters. Collaborate with the HR department to resolve employee-related issues equitably and efficiently, demonstrating strong conflict resolution skills. Safety: Ensure the organization's operations comply with all local, state, and federal safety regulations. Manage and implement robust safety training programs, educating employees at all levels on safety best practices, emergency procedures, and the use of safety equipment. Technology Integration: Identify and implement innovative technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency and support business growth. Collaborate with the IT department to ensure the seamless integration of new technologies across operational functions Requirements (Knowledge, Abilities, Skills, And Education And/or Experience) Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Proven experience (10+ years) in a senior leadership role overseeing operations. Demonstrated success in strategic planning, execution, and operational improvement. Strong understanding of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Financial acumen with experience managing large budgets and analyzing financial data. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of excellence. Working Conditions And/or Physical Requirements Office-based role with frequent operational site visits. Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
