We are currently seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) for full-time positions working with students in the Downingtown, PA area and throughout Chester County. The RBTs will provide direct one-on-one behavioral interventions in a school setting. Eligible candidates must have a Registered Behavior Technician Certification and up-to-date PA Clearances. The pay rate for these positions will be $30.00 per hour.
Qualifications:HS Diploma or equivalencyHold and maintain an active RBT Certification as mandated by the BACBWill consider applicants with completed 40 hours of RBT training under Edition Task List 2 who need onsite competency by a BCBAMaintain current certification in both CPR/First Aid and Safety Care Training (De-escalation, and Escorts & Restraints)Worked a minimum of 1 year directly with individuals with special needs – preferredMust have availability to work Monday through Friday following the academic calendar yearGeneral school hours approximately: 7:30am – 2:30pm (secondary) or 8:30am – 3:30pm (elementary)Responsibilities:Work directly with students who have significant behavioral and/or instructional needs including students who require daily implementation of a crisis management plan; require complex verbal behavior programming; and/or extensive data collection, graphing, and analysisProvide 1:1 ABA therapy in a school-based settingImplement individualized treatment plans developed by BCBAsCollect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan.Provide regular written and verbal progress updates on treatment goals.Support the BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans.Participate in team meetings and training workshops.Ensure that the client is in a safe and positive environment at all times.
